At GS Biomats, sustainability starts with smarter manufacturing

We’ve engineered a process that delivers high FDCA yield with reduced feedstock input and energy consumption. Our upcoming Taixing facility integrates photovoltaic power, cutting 3,000–5,000 tons of CO₂ emissions annually. Looking ahead, we are scaling up non-food biomass and agricultural residues as alternative feedstocks—advancing both climate and land sustainability.

At GS Biomats, sustainability starts at the molecular level. By utilizing biomass-derived FDCA as a platform monomer, we build low-carbon, renewable material solutions for the next generation of packaging and fibers.

Third-party peer-reviewed Life Cycle Assessments(2025) shows a 24% reduction in the carbon footprint of our FDCA and a 75% decrease in non-renewable energy consumption. By using LCA, we continually drive improvements, ensuring our solutions are both sustainable and efficient.
